I was there during my Tour of duty.
I was Very Happy to receive this coin as I was there on an Operation during my tour in Germany and it is a Very Nice Keepsake of that Operation.

Great Appearance
Check Point Charlie was staffed by Berlin Bde MPs. Yet thousands of us soldiers in the combat arms went through CP Charlie on our G-2 patrols in the Russian Sector, or we responded to the wall or CP Charlie for shooting incidences or prisoner exchanges. Should have Berlin Brigade patch on this coin!!!!!

The Cold War Coin for Berlin was beautiful. I wish they had a special deal to purchase two of them with a display case so the front and back was easily seen. I would recommend buying this item if you were stationed in Berlin at any time.
